What is in the Bottle?
Our ingredients are simple and functional. There are a lot of ingredients we won't use, but we'd rather talk about what's IN the bottle, not what we left out.
Ingredients made from plants using minimal processing methods such as distilling, cold pressing, extraction (using CO2 or traditional macerations or tinctures), cooking, dehydrating, and grinding.
Ingredients made from plants using laboratory methods to achieve specific properties in a formula, such as surfactants (cleansers) or emulsifiers (lotions and conditioners). We want our products to function according to their traditional uses and whenever they are available and effective, we use plant derived versions of functional ingredients instead of synthetics.
Ingredients that do not have a plant-based equivalent or are very far removed from their plant origins. They are used to achieve specific properties in a formula, such as preservatives, provitamins and cosmeceuticals. Every ingredient in every formula has a good reason to be there and we strive to be transparent about what we use and why.

What the Facial Oil is a potent combination of five cold pressed plant oils and three herbal essential oils formulated to target the signs of aging while balancing oil and moisture on the skin. It is excellent for all skin types, but especially Combination to Oily skin that is also showing signs of aging.
